Vitafolix Hair Wellness
Our story

We made the smallest possible system that actually moves the needle.

Three products. Five actives. One ritual. No miracle. Just the cleanest evidence-based fundamentals we could put together, dosed honestly.

Founder
Sara Vidal
Cosmetic chemist · Parkland, Florida

Vitafolix started after Sara's first child — postpartum, eight months in, the shedding wasn't stopping. She walked the cosmetic aisle and saw three categories: medical-prescription (felt like overkill), supplement multivitamins (felt like guessing), and clean-girl-aesthetic topicals (smelled great, dosed at marketing concentrations).

None of them treated her like a chemist who happened to be losing hair. So she built the version that would have, drawing on 14 years inside the labs where most premium hair-care actually gets made.

The product line is intentionally small. We launched with three formulas because that's how many it took to cover the lifecycle: scalp (where it starts), strand (where it weakens), ends (where damage shows). Adding a fourth product before the first three are fully understood by the customer would mean adding noise.

Vitafolix is small — three founders' worth of payroll, a contract laboratory in Boca Raton, a small fulfilment warehouse, and one office that smells like rosemary. We answer every email personally. We turn customers away when we know we can't help them.

If that's the kind of brand you want supporting your routine — welcome. If you'd rather a marketing apparatus with celebrity ambassadors and FDA-flirting claims — there are good options on the shelf. We just aren't one of them.

How we operate

Five non-negotiables.

01

Three products, not thirty.

We made the system as small as it could be without losing function. Adding a fourth product means losing focus on the first three. We don't add products to grow revenue — we add them when a real gap appears.

02

Dose at evidence levels, not marketing levels.

If a clinical study cited 2% concentration, we don't use 0.5% and lean on the ingredient's reputation. Where doses can't be disclosed (proprietary peptides), we publish in-vitro data ranges from the supplier.

03

Honest about what doesn't work.

Cosmetic topicals don't reverse Norwood-IV androgenic alopecia. They don't regrow hair on scarred scalp. We say this clearly on the Science page — and we send those customers to dermatologists instead of selling them our system.

04

No founders' photos in clinical labs.

We're not posing in stock-photo lab coats. The science is real or it isn't — the marketing should reflect what we actually have, not what we'd like you to think we have.

05

Subscription is honest, not a trap.

Cancel in two clicks. Your first consultation is included free. Renewal pricing doesn't sneak up — what you signed at month one is what you pay at month twelve.

The people you'll talk to

Three people, not a department.

01

Sara Vidal

Founder & Formulator

Cosmetic chemist, 14 years across Givaudan, L'Oréal Active Cosmetics, and one private apothecary in Provence. Started Vitafolix after noticing her own postpartum hair loss wasn't addressed honestly by any premium brand on the shelf.

02

Dr. Imran Patel, MD

Medical Advisor

Board-certified dermatologist (American Board of Dermatology, 2009). Trichology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Reviews every formula change before it ships. He's the reason we don't make claims we can't defend.

03

Maya Ellington

Head of Customer Care

Reads every email that comes through hello@vitafolix.us. Personally handles refunds and routine questions. If you ever email us, it'll likely be Maya who replies — usually within one business day.

Now — if it makes sense for your hair.

Take the 90-second routine quiz. If we're a fit, we'll recommend a starting product. If we're not, we'll tell you that — and we'll point you somewhere that is.
